Oggetto: CIP 8.0.1 [nuova release centralina]
Saluti a tutti,
BMS K Program Updates:
BMS-KP (Engine Electronics):
Affects all models of the R, K, and F Series:
Introduction of a new variant of the BMS-K control unit: BMS-KP
BMS-KP replaces BMS-K and is retrospectively envisaged as replacement for BMS-K (for any future repairs).
Implementation of ASC functionality (only in conjunction with I-ABS generation II.
ZFE Program updates:
Central Vehicle Electronics (ZFE):
Affects all models with the optional extras "ESA" (SA 416) and/or
"Windshield" (SA559):
Evaluation of outside temperature sensor extended to -40°C from -10°C)
Valid only with ESA with potentiometer: Improvement of stepper positioning of rebound (and if available compression) damping with automatically initiated recalibration.
Valid only with ESA with Hall sensor: corrects the following situation: If a fault occurred during ESA adjustment, then during the next ignition “on/off” cycle the automatically initiated recalibration of the stepper motors of the rebound (and if available compression) damping would not be correcly positioned.
The ESA menu was made permanently accessible during the adjustment procedure (no longer disappears). In addition, activation of the ESA display was fine-tuned.
The socket is no longer activated when the anti-theft alarm system (DWA) is "woken up" with the remote control.
KOMBI / I-Cluster:
Instrument panel for R and K Series:
Affects only the K26 and K44 model variants:
The unit "mls/h" is replaced by "mph" in the display - affects only vehicles with optional extra on-board computer (SA 539).
The "RDC" display is now shown in the 2nd line of the display (previously in the 1st line) - affects the K44 without optional extra "onboard computer" (SA 539).
Car Key Memory (CKM) :
Settings for the Car Memory functions (CKM) - Individualization of the instrument cluster:
Tire pressure display display unit - Only possible with option 530(RDC) "tire-pressure monitoring system"
Retrofitting:
Retrofit ASC (SA 650): Detailed information will be released in the near future outlining the steps required for retrofitting ASC.
The ASC retrofitting option only applies to the following 2007 model year motorcycle which were produced in 2006 with I-ABS Generation II (option 630): R 1200 GS (K25), R 1200 GS Adv. (K25/02), R 1200 RT (K26), R 1200 RT Official-use (K26 SF), R 1200 R (K27), K 1200 GT (K44)
Retrofit RDC (SA 530): This retrofit is available for all models from production date 01/2007 with the following exceptions:
Exceptions: HP2 (K25/HP) - it is not possible to retrofit RDC on to the HP2.
The retrofit enabling code required for this purpose must be ordered individually from the Electronic Parts Catalogue (ETK).
ESA with Hall sensor: Only to be carried out in the event of repair for all models with optional extra SA 416 "ESA" if the ESA spring strut to be fitted is equipped with a Hall sensor!
Notes:
After retrofitting "ESA Hall", the "rear ESA spring strut" is automatically calibrated and no longer needs to be selected manually.
Depending on the production date of the vehicle, this conversion is possible only in conjunction with an additional replacement of the Central Vehicle Electronics (ZFE) control unit.
For details, see additional information in the electronic parts catalogue.
ESA with potentiometer: Only to be carried out in the event of repair for all models with optional extra SA 416 "ESA" if the ESA spring strut to be fitted is equipped with a potentiometer!
Note:
After retrofitting "ESA Potentiometer", the "rear ESA spring strut" is automatically calibrated and no longer needs to be selected manually.
