Oggetto: Need help to find the owner of a SD card

Hello,

My name is Johan and i found a SD card in Venice with 194 photo's on it.
Everybody knows that losing something like that sucks.
I like to find the owner but i need help from you guys.

Why did i log in to this site ? I will explain.

On 1 of the photos there are 2 people sitting on a bike and in the corner of that picture, its says "Agrate Brianza"

Maybe one of you recognize one or both .
Probably they are not the owner , but my guess is that they will know who is!

Maybe one of you can translate this into Italian , cause mine is very very bad.

Spero che qualcuno di voi possa tradurre in italiano, perchè io sarei veramente scarso.

I am hopefull that we will find the owners.

If i dont have any respond within a few weeks , i will try to contact the police.
Why the police ?

On the picture is a car and the licenseplate number is vissible.
Maybe the police can contact the owner of that car.

Maybe a member of this forum is a police man/woman .

I've posted your message also in the specific "custom" subforum.
Just to try another way, I've sent a mail to the HD dealer nearest to Agrate Brianza asking them if they recognize the bikes or the bikers

So we need to find onother way to figure it out.

Ive checked the photo's and one of them contained a letter from a compagny named
AEP Elletronica

I have no idea what the content is about , but í'm sure you guys can read it.

on the other hand , Why couldn't it be the owners ?

As it seems , they where on a holiday cause they visited Venice as well.

Maybe the 2 on the bikes live in Agrate Brianza and they have visited them !

42 has just send an e-mail to the company, now he write here the reply to the e-mail

Hi, johan.

No news from any source...

But i didn't forget your request.

Usually, in Italy, holydays are centered around july and august.
So, placing an advice through radio o newspapers in these days could easily be unsuccesful.

I promise you that in september i will restart the search.

This morning I've called AEP Elettronica, the firm who apperas in the bottom of the second photo.
I've spoken with a secretary, and she asked me to send them both the images, so she can show them to their employees.
I've sent them just a few minutes ago.

No news from the firm, so i sent an e-mail to the Agrate's local police department.

They suggested to send them the SD card, so that they can try to find the owner.
It could be a good idea if we were really sure that they will actaully made any effort...
What we can do, by the way is to sendthem the original sdcard, keeping a backup of it a go on with some other attempt.

Well I think we can go for that and hope they will really try to find the owners.
I can make a backup or send it to you, maybe you see something more in the pictures that are on the SD card.

Also I still believe that a local radio/news station or local newspaper could help us as well.

Let me know which option you prefer.
