Inviato: 23 Lug 2013 16:48 Oggetto: I've sold a scooter... What now?
I know I should have been thinking about it before but... I've sold a scooter (here in Italy) and don't really know what to do now. I gave the guy the sccoter itself with the "libretto", he gave me the money and that's it? What if the scooter will be stolen then? Is it Ok if I don't have any proof of the selling? Is there anything I need to do now?? Thanks for your reply, guys. M
Simple: with your scooter someone will now rob a bank, a petrol station, a supermarket an old granny or similar stuff, then the surveillance cameras will record the scooter's registration number and the police will catch you and send you to jail. By the way, nothing more to be worried about, never mind, things happen.
By the way, is that real????

Waaaw, man, you're tough
I'm not THAT stupid, I keep the reg. number. It's a small scooter (50) so according to what I know, it should not be much of a problem. Just needed a simple advice, not judgement
In english: to sell a moped in Italy the seller (you) must go to the MCTC offices (Motorizzazione Civile e Trasporti in Concessione) with the following documents:
a) Form TT2118 - you can find it here: Link a pagina di Motociclismo.it
b) Form "Allegato 2" - you can find it here: Link a pagina di Motociclismo.it
c) Moped documents (aka "Libretto"). Must be the original, not a copy!
Once the MCTC has registered your request, you must give the original plate, the original "Libretto" and a copy of the "Allegato 2" to the buyer, he will request a new registration to MCTC himself.
